[ UNDER THE HOOD ]

Built on OpenVZ, run by engineers who trust it

Every Xervera VPS runs on OpenVZ, a container-based virtualization framework that's been hardened in production for two decades. It shares the host kernel instead of emulating a full virtual machine, which means less overhead between your app and the physical CPU, and a track record of quietly delivering, release after release, without the drama of newer hypervisor stacks.

Plesk

Full Plesk licensing available at checkout, a polished GUI for sites, mail, and domains with a one-click app catalog of its own.

cPanel/WHM

The industry-standard combo for agencies and resellers managing multiple sites or sub-accounts from a single VPS.

Webmin

A free, open-source panel for teams who want full system control without a commercial license fee.

[ INCLUDED ]

[ FAQ ]

VPS Hosting questions

Is this real dedicated vCPU, or shared/burstable?

Dedicated. The cores listed are reserved to your instance under OpenVZ; they're not oversubscribed or throttled based on other tenants' load, unlike burstable "shared vCPU" plans some providers sell at a similar price.

What operating systems are available?

Common Linux distributions are available at provisioning, alongside a one-click catalog of 80+ pre-configured control panels and application stacks. See "One-click deploy" above for the full list.

Can I resize my VPS later?

Yes. Move up a tier as your workload grows, typically with a few minutes of downtime for the resize. Downgrades are available too, subject to your current disk usage fitting the smaller tier.

Is there a setup fee or a contract?

No setup fee, and nothing longer than a monthly commitment unless you choose annual billing for the discount. Cancel anytime from your account panel.

What's the difference between OpenVZ and a KVM/full-virtualization VPS?

OpenVZ is container-based: your VPS shares the host's Linux kernel, which cuts virtualization overhead and lets us guarantee dedicated cores reliably. The tradeoff is that every OpenVZ guest runs Linux; there's no custom kernel module loading and no Windows guest. If you need either of those, bare metal or our Windows Server VPS image (full virtualization) are the right fit.

When would I want bare metal instead?

If you need hardware-level isolation, a specific RAID or storage layout, GPU passthrough, or you're consistently maxing a VPS Max instance, a bare metal server removes the virtualization layer entirely.

Can you migrate my existing site or server to Xervera?

Yes. Our team can handle the migration for you on Pro and Max plans, or walk you through a self-service transfer on Edge. Most single-site migrations complete same-day.

Will there be downtime during migration?

Typically just the DNS propagation window after cutover, usually under an hour. We keep your old environment untouched until you've verified the new one is working.
